Environmental Justice
Sustainability that ignores who bears the heaviest environmental burden isn't sustainability at all. We acknowledge that we work on the ancestral homelands of the Illiniwek, Potawatomi, Sauk, Meskwaki, and Ho-Chunk Nations — peoples who practiced stewardship of this land long before our industry existed. Environmental justice is an ongoing concern. Too many communities face disproportionate exposure to pollution, industrial waste, and climate risk, compounded by racial and socioeconomic inequities. Environmental justice and racial justice are not separate causes — they are the same fight. We are learning. We are listening. And we are committed to living our values by uplifting these communities.
